@Anonymous, this is a great recipe. It would also be good served with angel hair pasta.

Great to hear Vanessa! Do you mind sharing what side dishes you served with this?

I was rushed and lacking time to actually have a good sit-down dinner, so I didn't actually make any sides to go with it this time. Otherwise, I would have most likely made either a simple salad with vinaigrette or the orzo salad that you have here on this site.

This was delish! I served with angel hair pasta. Next time I will add chopped tomatoes and also serve with a side of peas or broccoli.

Adding chopped tomatoes sounds like a great idea and only makes me think of garnishing with green onion. :) I might have to make this again very soon!

@Jill, I like the idea of peas or broccoli. Because of the lemon in the recipe, asparagus would be a great side as well. @Vanessa, I LOVE green onions and use them frequently as a garnish! Good suggestions, y'all!

The sauce makes this dish worth three stars. However, the second time I made it, I tweaked it with some tomato and Parmesan on a bed of angel hair pasta. It is a nice dish.

Wow was this dish delish! We had shaved Parmesan in top & paired with Chardonnay, oh & instead of dried basil we added a handful of chopped fresh! Exceptional!

I loved this recipe! But it needed a tad Mir oomph, so I added a whole lemon & a little more garlic. Also used fresh basil which was perfect! Dried is okay but doesn't do it justice.

This was a really flavorful meal! Even my two old daughter couldn't get enough of it. The only thing was the recipe calls for salt on the shrimp and I'm the sauce. I would recommend that the salt should be added to the only. Other than that, a great and easy recipe!

Hi Anonymous! No, you do not have to use white wine in this recipe. Chicken, seafood or vegetable stock/broth can be used as a substitute. I have edited the recipe to include a note about this substitution.
